Informed by modularity in design and music, Ciaran’s painting and sculptural practice explore themes of absence, space and otherness. Often revealing the process of the making - where elements don’t quite align and layers overlap - he uses a restricted colour palette and a refined approach to examine not just what we see but how we see it, and how perception becomes the medium.
